Vendange 2016 – the harvest at High Clandon

A magnificent crop of ripe grapes were picked on 19th October with the help of East Clandon villagers and friends and ably supplemented by a professional team of pickers. 2.5 tonnes of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay are now at the Vin Clair stage, fermenting the first stage of Cuvée…. And ready to taste after 5 years on the lees in the cellars in 2021!

Thieves steal more than £30k of sparkling wine from Guildford vineyard owners

Almost 5,000 bottles of wine were stolen from a warehouse during a break-in at a vineyard in West Sussex.
