Jazz in the Vineyard 2026 – 6th June – marvellous jazz enjoyed despite poor weather!

Cherry Trees charity’s Jazz in the Vineyard here at High Clandon played on despite rainy early June weather. It was a delight to host this happy event on Saturday 6th June, our fourth! This wonderful day and evening last year over £15,000 was raised. A sparkling celebration of cool jazz by a quintet of virtuoso jazz musicians and singer.

They played a tribute to the Great American songbook of jazz featuring the legendary ladies of Ella Fitzgerald, Berry Carter, Sara Vaughan, Shirley Horn and others – featuring songs from the Great American Songbook. Picnics, a glass of High Clandon’s award-winning sparkling Cuvée, marquees, the Glass Barn and gazebos created a festive spirit and helped to shield guests from the intermittent gusts of rain whilst sipping their complimentary glass of Shakespearean Cuvée 2019 vintage.

So the mantra; lean back, drink in the views and chill to the mellifluous sounds is made real.

Swing-along.  Rustle up a delicious picnic or dig-in to a tasty luxury pizza complete with a complimentary glass of sparkling vintage cuvée, before sitting back with dazzling views to enjoy the music.
